Her chest is heaving. Her hands are clenched into fight fists but shake uncontrollably. I don’t think I have ever seen Kira Clark. The Kira Clark…vulnerable. While simultaneously slaying me wide open alongside her.

She said that with such reverence. One hundred percent assurance, confidence, and fear all at the same time. No one has ever called me theirs like that. No one felt this much for me. Definitely not the one I called my wife until recently.

And I was one hundred percent sure she didn’t want anything to do with me after that moment in LA, but then she showed up in my apartment in the middle of the night, confusing me further.

After the stunt Kira pulled off last night, I spent the rest of it looking for any available rentals in our price range, and needless to say, the variety of available places was astonishing. I saw anything from a card box—yes, literal one—to a room rental in an apartment worse than the one we currently were being evicted from.

Sophie spent the night crying after I finally told her what’s going on and fighting me to quit school and go to work. I refused, of course. Victoria went back to sleep but was restless the whole time. She felt the tension floating around in the small space, and this morning, as soon as I could, I called our manager, trying to see if Kira truly did what she did, and sure enough, I was given until noon to vacate the premises.

That was the last straw for me. I was done. I was done with Kira Clark and her games. So, I came to work as soon as I dropped my daughter off at her kindergarten, and after, Sophie and I moved our meager belongings to a nearby hotel. The one we can only afford for this one night.

I came here to hand in my resignation and leave for good. I even contemplated leaving the state as a whole to get away from that fiery witch, but we would need to move Mom as well, and again, that would cost money. But I would figure it out.

I always do. Whether I am left as the head of the family, tending to my ill mother, or left as a single dad after finding out your wife betrayed you in every way.

So, in the grand scheme of things, losing my apartment is the least of my worries.

But my perfect plan quickly got derailed.

Just one look at the maddening woman who has been driving me insane, yet supplying my lungs with fresh air was enough to change it all. And then I got to feel her. Taste her…drink my daily dose of her poison…

And find out she is not insane. She’s jealous. Of me.

And apparently, I am the insane one because my feet refuse to move away from her. My body is begging to go back. My cock is weeping to have a personal taste of her jealousy.
